Saite Period

Saite Period
(664–525 BC)
   A term used to describe the rule of Dynasty 26 from Sais. It marked the last dynastic period of Egypt’s greatness with political reunification of the country, revival in art that had begun during Dynasty 25 combining styles from the Old Kingdomand Middle Kingdomin deliberate archaisms, and Egyptian intervention in Nubia and Palestine.
